While I'm sorry to hear about the new laws, the story appears to be the same
pretty much all over Europe (or, in fact, the world), and underscores why we
are needed.
So congratulations to Hesse and Baden-Württenberg. We're all looking forward
to the election results from January 27 next year.
As a note of pure trivia, we joked a bit about how close to the Swedish
election date (Sep 17, 2006) the Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sep 19) was. It
turns out that the next Swedish parliamentary election, in 2010, will be
held on the International Talk Like A Pirate Day - Sep 19, 2010.
