WIPO is pretty big and well-known. If you google for WIPO, you get 23 
million hits (more than for Britney Spears...). To capture such a name 
(aside from the legal issues Amelia pointed out) is a major effort.
Sure, it'd be funny if we start some confusion with press statements 
like "WIPO says 'piracy is good!'", but I'm afraid very few journalists 
will take the bait. Getting into the top 10 Google hits for seems about 
impossible and all the relevant domains are already taken. Thus, I don't 
think it's a good idea.
What we could do is start a task force "Why Intellectual property? 
Pirate Organization (WIPO)" to discuss IP question in PPI, if we really 
want to capture the acronym...
