at last a european parliament member who understands that desperate record companies are working like hell to get draconic measures accepted by the European Parliament - which is very susceptible to lobbyists due not the infamous "democratic deficit", as you all know.
in economic theory this is called "rent seeking": manipulating the government to adopt *apparently* reasonable legislation, with to sole purpose to make more money. this is worse than corruption!
