News bulletin:

It's turned out that you need to pay entry fees to be allowed to visit
seminars. We will pay a full-forum-week seminar pass for all visiting
international pirates!

Because we intend to use www.pp-international.net as a reference in an
advertisement we're putting in the ESF program bulletin, I will need
the ESF program posted somewhere on that site where it's visible. Feel
free to question this need.

Also, feel free to compile information about your local movements that
we can hand out at our information stall.

This is the program:

==========
European Social Forum 2008, Pirate Action Program:

+++ all locations mentioned are in the city of Malmö, Sweden, unless
something else is explicitly mentioned)

Tuesday, September 16th, 17:30: Demonstration against the Swedish
FRA-legislation (gathering place Möllevångstorget at 17:30)

Wednesday/Thursdag, September 17th-18th: see below
Friday, September 19th, evening: Barbecue and hangout night for
pirates and sympathisers (bring a friend!) (place not determined as of
Sep 3rd)
Saturday, September 20th, 09:30-12:30: Seminar and workshop about FRA,
data retention and democracy (Folkets hus, Rosengård, festsalen)
Sunday, September 21st, 09:30-12:30: Seminar about copyright, civil
rights and patent law in the digital society (Rosengårdsskolan,
Rosengård)

To gain access to seminars at ESF you have to pay 80 kronor (youth
over 22, students, unemployed) or 160 kronor (employed people over 22
years of age) for a daily pass. It allows entry to all seminars that
day. To gain entry to seminars all week it costs 200 kronor (youths,
etc) or 400 kronor (employed people 22 years+).

Wednesday-Sunday, September 17th-21st , all day: Ung Pirat and Pirate
Parties International will have an information stall, which will be
manned every day during the forum. We'll sell brochures, CD:s with
pirate information, buttons, t-shirts and hand out information about
the Pirate Movement. If you want to volunteer to man the information
stall during some time during the forum, please notify us at soonest
opportunity - the aim is that no pirate should be there alone at any
given time!

(snild.dolkow at piratpartiet.se), Gustav Nipe
