goals. But is anything wrong with setting priorities?
To pursue short-term small changes at the expense of real victory
is an example of misguided priorities.
Short-term and long-term campaigns do not necessary conflict.
I say "at the expense of" because of what you say next:

Anyone who wants to change the political system that makes business king
must expect to be called "radical", whether it is true or not. It is
a tactic they use to discourage anyone from advocating bigger change.
If you're scared of their name-calling, you're not going to get anywhere.
It is fine to work for smaller short-term improvements as long as you
make sure not to let this impede the long term goals.
