Ah, got to love politics :-)

Senator (or rather, 'ex-senator' now) in the US did this a few months
back. Norm coleman said his site was being DDOS'd by Al FRanken
supporters, turned out they'd changed the DNS records for his site to
point at 0.0.0.0. Thankfully, FINALLY, they decided who actually won
that seat in the november08 elections 2 weeks ago, and Comedian Al
Franken was seated as the Junior Senator from Minnesota.
