Rick,

I've had a query from the BBC asking whether you're going to be
speaking at a music industry event in Manchester in October,
specifically this one:

on October 18th, 19th and 20th, have announced that Rick Falkvinge,
the founder and Chairman of The Pirate Party, the controversial
Swedish political organisation, will make his first ever public
speaking appearance in the UK and give the opening address at this
year’s event.
Formally launched on January 1st 2006 The Pirate Party was, according
to its own literature, founded to, “reform laws regarding copyright
and patents ”. The party’s aims also include, “support for a
strengthening of the right to privacy , both on the Internet and in
everyday life, and the transparency of state administration.”
