Once in ten years of living in Paris. None anywhere else. Every journalist here says that :
1°) Burqas are rare here.
2°) They are mainly worn by foreigners (Saudis mainly) and not by French citizens
3°) Someone that think his religion mandates him to force his wife wearing a burqa will have no problem to forbid his wife going out. Forbidding the burqa will have almost no effect but the small effect it will have will be to diminish the freedom that these women have.
