No, it does not, without legal protection. Then I am allowed to open my own 
IKEA in a blue and yellow(*) shed - and sell low quality furnaiture for IKEA 
prices. Eventually it will become known, but then IKEA itself suffers.

(*) red and white in DK, because they are allergic to SE colors.
