On behalf of the Italian Pirate Party, we are standing with you in this
situation.

In Italy we've seen many attempts to limit the freedom of expression:
extended liability for libel through the internet, a law that made blogs
and newspapers equal, proposals against online terrorism and child
pornography, even a proposal aimed at destroying the anonimity on the
Internet. Of course many of these attempts were so silly that just
showed how ignorant our politicians are, but we're standing on guard.

Could you please give more details on what is the exact proposal, if
there is any? As a fellow pirate put it: which witch is your parliament
going to hunt?
