Dear pirates,

As we told you in the conference announcement, a taskforce has been
established to develop a set of statutes for PPI. Which version of
these will be used for the final PPI statute will be decided at the
conference by the delegates.

Gregory Engels aka "dichter" - PPI coordinator of the Pirate Party
Germany - was assigned to lead taskforce. The whole process will take
place at a group here http://mypirates.net/ppi_development (*).

We ask pirates all over the world to participate in the creation of
possible forms for PPI statutes *now* over at mypirates. We will try
to ensure that all pirates can participate in this process.

Since the PPI conference will have a fixed time frame, there is no
room to create complete statute proposals while there so we hope that
the taskforce will be able to present a variety of statutes from which
the delegates can select the best version.

with pirately greetings
Patrick Mächler
PPI Co-President ad interim

(*) about myPirates
myPirates is a socialising- and collaboration-plattform which was
founded by Tobias Neumann & financed by a taskforce of the Pirate
Party Germany (contact: T.Neumann at piratenpartei-hessen.de).
Gregory decided to go for that solution as it combines a bunch of
collaboration tools: message board, wiki, chat, task lists, group
functions and many more. It also addresses all those privacy concerns
you may have, can be accessed by https and is completely open source (
GNU AGPL, see http://crabgrass.riseup.net/).
So don't hesitate to give it a try!
