I think this would have happened no matter what label they tried to
attach. 'They' chose the most negative label they could think of,
we've taken it and made it 'sexy'. Jonny Depp may have helped a little
but for the most part I think it's because 'The Pirates' are seen as
standing up to corporate greed (at least in the entertainment
industries) and government corruption.

I count this as a major WIN for the pirates.
