"This presentation will focus on current debates around copyright laws
in Latin America, with special
emphasis on Chile, Brazil and Argentina, from a citizen’s interests
point of view. The talk will also
show how different civil society groups, free culture and access to
knowledge advocates, are promoting
the debate in the Southern Cone. The talk will also include a short
presentation of "Argentina
Copyleft", the new book of Vía Libre Foundation, supported by Heinrich
Böll Foundation, to be
launched at Frankfurt Book Fair (available in Spanish and German).
