Hi Richard,

Guttenberg might have violated authorship laws, but more important, he
handed his dissertion in with an affirmation in lieu of an oath that he
created it autonomously. There are more than 80 complaints and he will
have to appear before a court.

That's why he resigned. What politian would resign because of copyright
laws ;)
