[pp.int.general] Pirate Party UK Election Results, May 2011

The UK Pirate Party stood 9 candidates in elections across the United 
Kingdom yesterday.

In the election for Members of the Scottish Parliament, the Party 
fielded 4 candidates in two of the regions, gaining 581 votes (0.3%) in 
Glasgow and 850 votes (0.3%) in the West of Scotland.

The Party also fielded one candidate, Graeme Lambert, in the local 
council election in Bury (Moorside ward), who gained 119 votes (3.6%), 
setting a new percentage record for the Party.
