Hi, yes there is, in Spanish. Basically, a couple editors sued together
Taringa owners demanding that they were participating on the crime of
copyright infringement. The defense argues that they can't assume neither
the role of the State nor the collective rights managers (excuse the
translation, I mean author's associations that collect royalties) given
the size of Taringa, that currently has 7 million users (IIRC) and 20
thousand posts a day. [0]
But I was to ask something else, does any of you know how can we access
Wikileaks cables about Argentina? We are suspicious about certain
declarations from the Culture Minister[1] and a law bill from a right wing
congress idiot[2] a few weeks ago and the current events.
Also, is it possible to know the names of the judges that attended at this
school of copyright infringement? A sort of Escuela de las Americas[3] to
educate on piracy prosecution.
We think this can help us prepare counterarguments :)
