A public announcement of the fact might be nice. In fact, to paraphrase
one of our current co-chairs from early March "sticking important up on
a wiki page, but not telling anyone it's there is not telling anyone
anything, it's just hiding info"

There's a whole bit of statute - XIII(8) - concerning the resignation of
a board member, although it's contradictory. Apparently, it can be
filled by the board just appointing someone to fill out the term. Then
it says the person that was 'next' at the election we had to fill the
board SHALL be the one (what idiot wrote these statutes?)
