All's well that ends well. After nearly five days of counting, the
results of the Bremen elections were published today.
Bürgerschaft (state parliament) 1.9% PIRATEN, threshold at 5%, so
nothing going.
Bremerhaven city council: 1 pirate elected (see below).
Bremen city district councils: 4 pirates elected, one each in the
districts of Mitte (3.9%), Neustadt, Östl. Vorstadt, Findorff. (CDU got
2..3 seats in those, FDP not one at all :^D)
So all in all, the Pirates of Bremen now have 5 seats in local councils,
which ranks them second-best in Germany (Hesse 31, Hamburg 3, NRW 2)..
or even world-wide!! (Czech Republic 3, Catalunya 2, Switzerland 1)
Congratulations, and good luck and success to Bremen! Good work in local
councils will make Pirates better-known and respected in future elections...

Isn't that Castillano, and the Catalá word is "felicitats"? :)
Anyway, here's one good news from Germany, Bremen elections:
Piratenpartei made only 2% for the state parliament, for which a 5%
threshold applies.
However, today it was reported that 1 Pirate, Mario Tants, is elected
into Bremerhaven city assembly (2.2%, and no threshold here).
That brings the count of pirates in local assemblies to 37 :^D - more to
come in Lower Saxony soon...
