[pp.int.general] UK threatens armed assault on Ecuadorian embassy over Assange

The UK foreign office has decided to toss out years of diplomatic
tradition, courtesy and law by formally threatening the Ecuadorian embassy
with military/police action if they do not hand over Julian Assange, who is
currently awaiting a decision on his application for asylum.

Anyone else concerned about the precedent this will set for Western
diplomacy?
