Hi Pirates International,

In times of ACTA and SOPA it becomes obviously nessecary to discuss Counter-Agreements which represent the interest of the common towards industrial lobbys. The idea is to initiate a multinational agreement, called "international liberty agreement".

The Intention is to set minimal standards for civil liberties, especially but not exclusively in digital networks. The negotiations will be carried out publicly from the beginning. The civil societies and interested organisations will be included into the discussion by the negotiating nations.

You can find More about ILA and the Intention on this URL: https://piratenpad.de/p/ILA-en

So whats my purpose ?

1.
The idea aroused and I like it. So the idea has to be seeded in different Nations.

2.
If there should be some people who are interested in negotiating ILA, the PPI might be the right place to start with.

Have fun reading the Pad!

Regards,

Christian Hautmann
