Gijs,
I suppose that with the Germans an the Suedes broadening their programs to connect with a broader public, and some projects that are in the pipes... you are bound to pull the shortest straw.
But you are free to suggest whatever.
Antonio.

Dear Richard,
The whole global warming thing is at least dubious. Temperatures in Europe have been higher than they are now, and there are still humans living here. "this imminent
threat to civilization's survival" might be overstating things a bit...
I suggest that we stick to our core issues.

says that we are on track to burn enough CO2 to cause 2 degrees of
global heating in just 16 years. It also reports that 2 degrees may
be too much to be safe.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/jul/22/arctic-ice-melting-oil-drilling
reports on positive feedback in the Arctic that causes even more
global heating.
I suggest that the Pirate Parties strongly address this imminent
threat to civilization's survival, in addition to the issues that were
their original concern.
