It doesn't work. At a certain level of CO2, forests start losing CO2
into the air.
Global heating allowed the pine borer beetle to spread. It has killed
lots of pine trees in the US west. Global heating also reduces
rainfall in the US west. Put these together with the heat, and you
get the large fires which are now burning those trees and returning
most of their CO2 to the air.
Parts of the Amazon rainforest are drying up due to global heating.
What is not cut down may burn up.
