[pp.int.general] Don't roast our planet

Climate change is anything but controversial when it comes to the science and data of it. 90%+ of scientists in the field agree that the theory anthropogenic climate change is supported by the evidence - including those who work for "big oil".
Now, granted, there are people and corporations trying to make money from the problem - when has that never been the case?! - and some of the schemes may be totally useless but remember: correlation does not imply causation and the fact that they're useless doesn't mean their stated aim is pointless.
What we should, IMHO, is denounce the bad schemes and promote the good ones.
