Antior noted the following on the Dutch mailing list in a discussion about
the same topic:
The device can produce Hydrogen (h2) ánd Carbon mono oxide (CO). These 2
can be combined in a chemical plant to produce 'synthdiesel', which results
in greenhouse-neutral fossil fuels. The only thing which is required, is to
build these 'farms' and the chemical plants. Cars most likely don't need to
be changed (maybe only some minor modifications). This will save a lot of
money. An added plus is, that this 'synthdiesel' doesn't contain any toxic
materials like Sulphur and Lead, which will also reduce pollution and
health risks. It only outputs (H2O) water and carbondioxide (CO2). These 2
will be transported by nature back to the plant, which can process it again
into fuel through sunlight and chemistry. This could also be a very
interesting technique (thanks Antior for pointing this out!).
