Is there or isn't there something I call heart intelligence? (with empathy
as a major force)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_intelligence
Is this esoteric bullshit ? (as I often hear as arguments from even pirates
for example)
Are we wisening up? My proposal is to (re)define the pirate core values in
a way that the human emotional part is also integrated in it. What I mean
is that the current core values are focussed on things and matters rather
then the quality of human life itself.
I repeat, the focus is on conditions (of people) instead of on THE people.
A trainload of freedom and privacy protection is not stopping the war
industry or starvation for example.
I understand the reluctance to this difficult matter, but hé, we are only
thinking about this for a couple of millenia. I don't pretend to have a
complete answer but I do have the understanding that together it could be
done. But not without your support about understanding the human nature on
one side and the science of facts on the other side.
Only science is not going to do us much good, science in essence has NO
ethics, only evidence! Unfortunately the human feelings are of very little
value here, see the error.
My sympathy to al that suffer from this unfortunate premature departure of
Aaron.
(and yes, I also stood once before this station, but logic tells me that
there is only 1 thing sure in this life. And that is you gonna die. So what
is the hurry? Anyway this works for me)
pirately,
