Hola,

unfortunatly the "common citizen" here in germany is not really aware 
about what is happening, concerning prism, snowden et al.

the "offline media" are making some copy/pasta from the internet or from 
AP/wapo/huff/guardian, most media here is lacking own investigative 
journalists - spiegel is one of the remaining weekly magazines doing own 
research, but they too have other issues.

in the "online media" the pirate party germany is well known, polls show 
 >40%, for example here: http://www.heise.de/tp/umfrage/ergebnis/

but i expect the offline polls will improve: 
http://www.wahlrecht.de/umfragen/index.htm - these are allways some 
weeks behind.
