First I would like to say, that we urge all members that they shall  
consider to propose goals for the upcoming period as is explicitly  
mentioned in the motion ("If you have another idea of what the PPI  
should absolutely do, please propose it.")

Please note that the motion is the main concern for hopefully obvious  
reasons (especially for anyone that ever complained about PPI) and  
that you could be in favor of the motion but in disfavor of the  
amendment.

The statute amendment would be an option to remind everyone that this  
would be a reasonable thing to do at every GA. The GA could approve  
this amendment and could - if they consider that setting goals does  
not work out - throw it out again in the subsequent year.

If you consider that it may work out...then why not adding it in the statutes?
