Hi folks,

yesterday, unfortunally, I couldn't find the time to call MEPs, but therefore today.
Today I've called another 3 MEPs and basically told them to support the Reda Report.

First I've called Mrs. Kaufmann (S&D - Germany); I didn't talked with her, directly, but
with her employee, who's responsible for the topic copyright reform.
Her employee noted my statements, that creatives in architecture offices break copyright
all the time and that this shows, that current copyright is not a culture impulse, but hinders
creative processes:
• architects use pics from google search for their commercial presentations, no matter what license
• " " google map pics for their landscape plans
• " modify copyright protected fonts for their commercial presentations, if constructive for the design of their presentations
• architects simply take any pic of persons, which appears suiting for their purpose, and create people silouettes out of it for their plans
• etc.

Additionally I've told her that daily use of internet needs to be legalized.
I got the feedback, that the parliament won't vote about the Reda Report and every single amendment of the 556 amendments,
but vote about the end product output of the comitees. So, you see, if we mess up now, the plenary voting won't rescue the fail.

Secondly I've called Mrs. Gebhardt (S&D - Germany). Her employee noted my demands, that Mrs. Gebhard supports the Reda Report
and amendment 507.

Additionally I've got feedback, that in house the Reda Report is considered to be balanced.

The telephone call stopped abruptly, as if someone simply pushed the exit button, but the essential part of the conversation was done, before... so no call back from me or him, yet...

Thirdly I've called the shadow rapporteur of S&D for copyright reform, Dietmar Köster.
My aim was just, to give telephone input hinting on an e-mail, that I'm going to send them regarding
copyright reform. So, I wanted to make sure, that my e-mail gets special attention and won't be buried under
hundreds of e-mails. And so telephone call happened; his employee told me, that Dietmar Köster reads every
e-mail carefully, and right in the first place told me even before my input, that it's prefered that statements
are conveyed via e-mail.
I wanted the e-mail form, because the day before yesterday I've send such a great, profound e-mail to
Mrs. Niebels (PPE - Germany), that I wanted to send him the e-mail, as well, as this was my best quality input, so far.
The said e-mail will be extended by demand to support amendment 507 (legalization of non-commercial filesharing).

That was my thursday noon, 19.03.15. I'd like to hear reports of you, how you currently are supporting copyright reform;
unfortunally noone else reported about how calling MEPs for copyright reform was, yet...

Greetings,
Torben Lechner
