+1. It's just crystal clear we shouldn't have "stances on different ideologies".

On Tue, Nov 11, 2008 at 8:41 PM, Mirco da Silva <mirco.da.silva@piracy-international.org> wrote:
That would have been honest, because thats all you know a little bit about.

But what have you and your 40 fellow party members done instead at the
2nd german national convention '08 last month?

You made the decision to do some magick and presented some funny
decisions, mainly copy-pasted from the greens and communists, as a
"party program" to the other 760+ members..and the voters of course. Ok,
maybe you will get some votes with it, but why should they vote a
primitive pirate copy when they can have the original already
represented in the german parliaments?

By doing this, you forgot to have some arguments leading to this
decisions, and instructed a 'commission' with the task to find out how
this would work and which consequences your voters will face if they do so.

So, at the end its irrelevant if you "political privateers" have a
letter of marque or not.
The result is the same: you sunk a ship.
Unfortunately not one of the political opponents.

"Sucks a bit?"
You bet!
