Hi guys, I have a question.<br><br>Do you have open lists at the Bundestag?<br>Did you voted for the "SPD" party, or for the "Jörg Tauss" individual?<br><br>Is it common for german politicians to switch parties once they have been elected?<br>
<br>In Spain we don't have open lists, we vote for the entire party.<br>There isn't party-switching, though in some ocasions some (bribed) politicians vote against their own party for money. It's always seen as corruption.<br>

I was organizing the rallye at which Tauss joined the Pirate Party<br>
officially yesterday. I talked to him about several topics.<br>
Some good points were already said, but want to respond to this comment:<br>

</div>In my point of view, you shouldnt compare drugs and child pornography.<br>
Apart from my sincere opinion that child pornography is a modern way<br>
of blaming someone a "communist" in earlier times, I dont like the<br>
comparison because there ist a strong difference: The addiction<br>
process and therefore the probability of self-abuse. Everybody could<br>
get addicted to drugs - its nothing we are born with. But people are<br>
usually born with their (comdemnable?) sexual desire to get in contact<br>
with children. That someone who has never been suspected to molest<br>
children or the like, but has reason to be contact with the material<br>
regarding the topic, is completely different from a cop hiding drugs.<br>

I want to give you a better comparison which Tauss had in his personal<br>
blog.<br>
Imagine a representative who works for a long time for democratic<br>
rights in Germany. In this sense he works against right extremist<br>
people. He acquires some material like stuff with svasticas via his<br>
official cell phone and also talks about this with friends. Now,<br>
police raids his office, finding the stuff there. He COULD be accused<br>
of acquiring and owning the illegal material. But who would accuse him<br>
of being national socialist. I think that should make people think.<br>
Child pornography (or documented abuse) is not drugs. About 95-99% of<br>
our population is immune to it and deeply disgusted by pictues of<br>
chldren that have pain. They do not get addicted by pictures - in<br>
contradiction to what our German government is telling us since last<br>
November.<br>

Well try to work closely with Tauss in the next months. So if you have<br>
any questions, you can probably ask me. I also intend to design a blog<br>
in which we can share and present all data about work done by European<br>
Pirates in parliaments. I already safed the domain<br>
www.piratesinparliament.eu because it will bring more transparency<br>
into their work.<br>
But before starting on this I would like to speak to the Swedish.<br>
Maybe they are already working on something like this. Does anyone<br>
here know more?<br>

I also think, Hurricane78 is right. The speed with which his immunity<br>
was lifted in March was the only thing that was dubious. But that ist<br>
only a minors detail.<br>
