This sounds just like the US party right now. We have absolutely no concrete chatter about actions around the ACTA, but by god we're able to get some WORDS spit out about IRC logs and personality conficts! I love some of the content that is coming out of the lists here and there, but there really isn't much chatter about things to really get INVOLVED with. It's really hard, at least here in the US, to find volunteers AND find a comfortable medium for communication AND get them with free time. Once we get folks we really have to have things to work on, and it would be nice if we all coordinated here.<div>
<br></div><div>This is a great issue for any would be candidate to start campaigning on, for any college group to flyer about, and so on. It's international in scope and we must make sure our volunteers everywhere are aware and informed and hopefully preforming actions that at the LEAST increase public awareness.</div>

I understand Samirs concerns about being completely transparent but I do think that at LEAST the members (the parties) should get ALL information that there is. Including but not limiting to complete IRC-logs, information about meetings with other organizations, status of the incorporation of PPI, etc.<br>

This does not have to be open to everyone, but EVERY BOARD should get access to the same informations as the coreteam, because if that is not guaranteed, how can the coreteam be controlled? How can the national boards deliberate onto something they have not ALL the information? This entire discussion could have been avoided if the national boards would have had access to the mentioned information.<br>

I should have complete IRC logs from the Coreteam channel since I joined in October and there is no technical issue with making them available on request and I am happy to answer questions on issues from the minutes. The channel is also open and unmoderated outside official meetings. However, as I'm sure those of you who frequent IRC are aware, among the important discussions there are quite a few off-topic notes, personal details and similar things that are of little relevance or interest to anyone other than a subset of those present. I can try to prune these sections from the logs, but that would seem to be the general idea behind making minutes - they should contain all the relevant material (although I can try to put more details in if they are wanted).<br>

As for the status of incorporation of PPI; to my knowledge, PPI currently consists of the Coreteam (6 people), forum (at <a href="http://pp-international.net" target="_blank">pp-international.net</a>), wiki (at <a href="http://int.piratenpartei.de" target="_blank">int.piratenpartei.de</a>) and some mailing lists and IRC channels - there is a bank account being set up, but that's been delayed due to issues with the paperwork. As for getting in contact with all the PP boards, I wish it were that simple; there is currently no "official" list of member PPs, never mind contact details for their boards. So far (using the forum which as 32 countries listed, the wiki, with 36 and Wikipedia with 35 and from rummaging around all their websites) I have a list of about 40 PPs around the world, but I only have verified contact details for 14 of them (and no details for some). Some of the newer PPs don't have boards or leaders yet; some PPs seem to have disappeared and reappeared elsewhere. However, this is something I am working on at the moment, but it takes time. I would ask people to be patient for now; I am happy to respond to individual requests from PPs but until there is a better framework in place, I am reluctant to send out too many emails to the current list (I have already had one person noting that they're getting too much traffic to deal with), particularly when there may be 'sensitive' information included and some of the addresses are unverified.<br>

**If anyone reading this is the international co-ordinator (or equivalent) of your PP (and you haven't heard from me recently) please do get in touch.**<br>

One of the things I intend to propose at the conference (or recommend to my successor) is some sort of "official registration form" for Parties that wish to be members of PPI that requests, among other things, contact details for an "International Co-ordinator" through which we can talk to the party. I know this may sound like excessive bureaucracy and unnecessary paperwork but without it, I fear PPI will fall apart.<br>
