Good point. On the other hand, although actively spreading misinformation is a bad idea, reference to it is clearly a useful "opener" to discussion about actual facts. To how many countries has the news of PPDE's flashmob spread (I count to three languages in the links in this thread, and more are sure to come)? One can use that sort of attention to at least point out how ineffective the technology is.<div>

And even from a pragmatic point of view, it would be a good strategy for governments to let this fake argument become the main objection so that they can then loudly say "Ok, you won, nobody will watch thepictures, it will be automated" or "You are dumbed and misinformed ! Nobody will look at the pictures."<br>

I think it is positive that there is polemics whatever the main argument but that if the PP wants to get credit as a "technical expert movement" it has to explain the plain truth, as complex as it is, to the public at every occasion.<br>
