Hello you wonderful useless pirates!<br>

Since we didn't do too well in the Swedish election, I have got some<br>
time over for relaxing and spending time on some private projects.<br>

A friend of mine is involved in some crazy stuff with rockets and is<br>
currently participating in "Sugar Shot to Space". I'm not sure how,<br>
But anway, we are thinking of doing a far less complicated thing<br>
parallel to that...<br>
<br>
We plan to send a file sharing site (or something similar) into the<br>
sky - possibly a blogg (?)... We plan to use some kind of baloon and<br>
try to keep it up in the air for as long as possible. Hopefully<br>
irritating the crap out of authorities in as many countries as<br>
possible.<br>
<br>
I don't know jack shit about most of the stuff involved, but since I<br>
figured, alot of techies roam this forum - I would like to ask for<br>
good advices and far fetched ideas as to how to do this.<br>
<br>
The Pirate Party Logo is off-course going up together with it.<br>
<br>
The over all goal is to learn how to do this, have fun, create a<br>
debate about free communication, learn stuff, publish everything and<br>
share information.<br>

Soon, we will start up a forum and wiki, but for now we would like to<br>
know if you useless people can help out on the following topics:<br>

Mars (manned missions, astrophysics complimenting my main one in robotics)<br>

The main thing that will drive the design will be the flight profile.<br>
How high, and how long. do you want a weather-baloon style uncontrolled<br>
climb, or something more like an airship, or an ultra-high altitude<br>
glider? Or, most ambitiously, do you want something to LEO? Then, do you<br>
want minutes, hours, days? Recovery+relaunch? Geostationary, or not?<br>

to send a micro satelite to spread some "dangerous" urls in morse code<br>

But I think is more cheaper and "cool" construct a dirigible balloon<br>
loading a router with a customized access point firmware to spread a<br>
torrent site, like firmwares in <a href="http://dd-wrt.com" target="_blank">dd-wrt.com</a>. The dirigible must be<br>
autonomous if coupled in a gps system and a basic route programation<br>
(to skip airports area, for example). Solar pannels with bateries must<br>
be feed the machine.<br>

Is very nice think about this. If anyone have a lot of money to<br>
support this, call me! ;)<br>

The rants Turovskiy directs at me are not opinions about what I said.<br>
They misrepresent what I said about the issue, and they misrepresent<br>
the issue too.<br>

To publish in Flash v9 does more than simply "tell" people<br>
to use proprietary software -- it requires them to do so<br>
in order to view the publication.<br>
<br>
By contrast, publishing in PDF lets people use many programs<br>
to view the publication. Some of them are free software,<br>
but people who are determined to lose their freedom do have<br>
the option of using proprietary options too.<br>
<br>
The issue comes from those facts. When Turovskiy says that this is a<br>
matter of "telling people to use free software", he misrepresents the<br>
issue. And when he claims I am trying to do that, he misrepresents<br>
what I said.<br>
