Let's be realistic. Recent German jurisdiction ruled out the 5%<br>
threshold for EP elections. That's good news for small parties.<br>
<br>
On the other hand, the German Pirate Party scores between 5% and 9% in<br>
current polls. That's good news too, for Pirates.<br>
<br>
But Germany has 99 seats in the EP, so come the next elections, with<br>
similar rates, that would be 5..9 seats for German Pirates. If Pirates<br>
in other countries don't add to that figure, it's far from the 25<br>
member limit required for a "group".<br>
