Well, by German law a company over a certain size has to have workers' representatives (not necessarily unionized, but that happens often) on the board of directors in companies. I think capitalism works fine if you work with stakeholders, not just shareholders in leading the company. Granted, it doesn't work always and in every industry to the same degree, but the American system is not the inevitable result of a capitalistic system, just as Cuba and China show that the USSR in 1990 is not the only inevitable outcome of a communist system.<br>

</div>That's the thing about cooperatives, you can haz it with capitalism. :p<br>
You can educate by example, show the alternative and it's advantages.<br>
<br>
In Argentina there are some examples of bankrupt companies<br>
recovered by their workers as a cooperative, administrated by an<br>
assembly of the employee-owners.<br>
