They can, just removing any personal data, like this email from the former board president sent on Fri, 12 Aug 2011 21:00:43 +0200 asking for a public votation to ask catalonian members of PPES, which is what I've sent, and Francisco told on him first point it was illegal. It's served as is, without modifications, so is in spanish, use google translate, the first point he asks for the votation, and after that were another series of emails, including two personal emails I'll also post on this thread. I've also received tresaurer confirmation and board members and assambly were informed of all the proccess.<br>

mucho mas fuerte que PIRATA en Cataluña, pero eso no nos autoriza<br>

contar con los miembros de la territorial catalana, sean estos 50<br>
o 500. Yo, al menos, no me siento autorizado a tomar ninguna<br>
decisión que pueda limitar las posibilidades de los afiliados<br>

participar en negociación alguna sobre estas cuestiones.<br>
* Valoro mucho que algunas personas especialmente conocidas, como<br>
- y -, se hayan manifestado a favor de<br>
trabajar con PIRATA y no con Pirates de Catalunya, pero el caso es<br>
que a dia de hoy solo han hecho eso, pronunciarse. Mientras no se<br>
afilien y hagan acto de presencia no podemos, desgraciadamente,<br>
tenerlas en cuenta en este asunto.<br>
* Me parece exagerado decir que en Pirates de Catalunya no citan en<br>
su web a PIRATA. Puede que sea una impresión personal, pero han<br>
publicado en su web algunos textos mios, y creo que publicar en<br>
una web catalana textos del presidente de un partido "español" es<br>
algo significativo (sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que el citado<br>
presidente es de Extremadura, una comunidad en las antípodas de<br>
todo lo que pueda considerarse catalanismo).<br>
* También me parece una exageración decir que no les hemos<br>
mencionado a ellos en nuestra web, y que hemos llegado incluso a<br>
desviar hacia PIRATA a periodistas que preguntaban por Pirates de<br>
Catalunya. Me parece que hay una excesiva desconfianza entre los<br>
dos partidos.<br>
* Un último comentario: creo haber entendido que Pirates de<br>
Catalunya no está realmente interesado en estas elecciones<br>
generales, sino en las europeas del año que viene. Para Pirates de<br>
Catalunya las generales, en realidad, solo son una oportunidad<br>
para darse mas a conocer y comenzar a preparar las europeas.<br>
Nosotros, en cambio, estamos pensando en las generales y no en las<br>
europeas. Un acuerdo relativo a las europeas puede correrle prisa<br>
