If you didn't know, the UK Pirate Party is taking part in local<br>
elections today. There's about an hour until the polls close, and then<br>
it's the count.<br>

To help keep people up to date with the results from Manchester,<br>
Edinburgh and Glasgow, I'm going to try and liveblog the results (I'm<br>
also covering Liverpool, where a longtime family friend, and head of the<br>
UK Liberal Party (NOT the Liberal Democrats, but the party the lib-dems<br>
split from in 88) is running for Liverpool Mayor.<br>
