All of this is a blunt manipulation. Pirate Party of Serbia is NOT
officially registered as a political party.<br>
<br>
Earlier this year in October we already informed the public about
this group not supporting basic human rights, which was enough for
them to make a division: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="http://piratskapartija.com/pirate-party-of-serbia-defending-integrity-and-good-name/">http://piratskapartija.com/pirate-party-of-serbia-defending-integrity-and-good-name/</a>
Considering the cause, this group should not and can not be
perceived as a Pirate whatever because they are not serious in
relation to our fundamental values. <br>
<br>
This group is simply using historical chance in an opportunistic
way to gain personal and material benefit and to impress all of us
how detached from reality young people can be. <br>
<br>
Group also vandalized the wiki page: <a
class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_Party_of_Serbia">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_Party_of_Serbia</a>
(I know the editing nick), but is kinda cool to have my name
defending basic human rights against the whole madafakin "core
team" ^_^<br>
<br>
OFF<br>
Exclusive news like this, "Official registration of Pirate Party
in Serbia", will be aired on mayor world wide media most probably
next year all along with death threats coming straight from above
from our closed political establishment finding themselves in a
weird situation of having the real opposition after more than two
decades of very complicated political life in Serbia.<br>
Not like this, as a shy and below the belt slimy manipulation on
this mail list.<br>

<p style="margin-bottom:0cm" align="JUSTIFY" lang="en-US">Ahoy
dear Pirates!</p>
<br>
We are hereby delighted to announce that the <b>Pirate Party of
Serbia is finally officially registered</b>, in the form of a
civil movement. It is an unfortunate but necessary step for us
before registering as a political party because of a rather
restrictive election law in Serbia that require parties to collect
10000 signatures and a sizable monetary amount prior to
registering.<br>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm" align="JUSTIFY" lang="en-US">Being
organized in a civil movement, officially called Pirate
Movement(<i>Piratski pokret</i> in Serbian), will help us grow
as a party and learn how to work in more formalized structures
than before. We hope that the restrictive law will offer us a
stern challenge which when overcame will make us far more
prepared for serious battle on the ugly Serbian political scene.
Always look for the bright side, eh? :) <b>We are also able to
take part at elections in capacity of civil movement</b>
(though we would still need 10000 signatures for that), but as
the next general elections in Serbia are scheduled for 2016. we
hope to register the political party prior to that.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm" align="JUSTIFY" lang="en-US">In the
following days we will organize a sort of celebration party
(most likely on next Friday, 7th of December) where
everybody will be invited, so if someone of Pirates from this
list is passing by Belgrade feel free to come.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm" align="JUSTIFY" lang="en-US">Now with
a registered body we are ready to start more serious work
including, but of course not limited to, expanding our members
base, starting grassroots movements in all cities and towns
where that is possible, organizing projects and events that will
give us more air time in old school media because use of
Internet is not widespread in Serbia as much as we would like
to, and many, many more.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm" align="JUSTIFY" lang="en-US"><b>We
would also like to thank Aleksandar Blagojević</b> for all of
his hard work done with establishing Pirates in Serbia and
basically running the show all by himself for couple of years.
But sadly, he chose not to be a part of this Pirate Movement so
<b>we would like you to update all your contact information for
PPRS with the data below, readmit us to PPI-Leaders mailing
list and keep your further official correspondence with the
officially registered Pirate Movement</b>. Parting ways with
Blagojević was necessary due to his ever increasing
authoritarian approaches to leadership, lack of transparency
about his whereabouts, actions and intentions, continuous
name-calling and attempts to oust out any Pirates he didn't
like, and unwillingness to actually be part of any attempt to
register and formalize with even suspicions of sabotage. Thus,
we were sadly and regrettably forced to exclude him (or branch
out, depending of view point), and a handful, if any, of his
followers. Nevertheless, <b>if Aleksandar Blagojević is willing
to reconsider his approach, he is of course more than welcome
to be part of Pirate Movement once again</b>.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm" align="JUSTIFY" lang="en-US">This
long(ish) explanation was necessary in order to make members of
PPI know that all Pirates of the new Pirate Movement are old
Pirates active for a long time in Serbia with just the change of
one man <i>“at the helm”</i>. That's important because <b>we
would like to continue to be part of PPI and everything that
comes by</b>.</p>
