<div>Hi all,<br>
<br>
What Marko is saying is misleading and untrue.<br>
<br>
At this moment there are two pirate groups in Serbia and
both call<br>
themselves Pirate Party, but there is no registered Pirate
Party in<br>
Serbia and that is a fact<br>
</div>
(<a href="http://sr.wikipedia.org/sr-el/%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%BA%D0%B5_%D1%81%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%BA%D0%B5_%D1%83_%D0%A1%D1%80%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%98%D0%B8" target="_blank">sr.wikipedia.org/sr-el/Политичке_странке_у_Србији</a>).<br>
<div>
<div><br>
Pirate Party of Serbia, which you've all known for years<br>
(<a href="http://piratskapartija.com" target="_blank">http://piratskapartija.com</a>),
and is already a member and one of the<br>
founders of PPI<br>
(<a href="http://wiki.pp-international.net/wiki/images/a/a6/Statutes_of_the_Pirate_Parties_International.pdf" target="_blank">http://wiki.pp-international.net/wiki/images/a/a6/Statutes_of_the_Pirate_Parties_International.pdf</a>),<br>
still exists and is quite active on a national and
regional level. It<br>
was established in 2008 by Aleksandar Blagojevic, who
was also a board<br>
member of PPI in 2010/2011<br>
(<a href="http://wiki.pp-international.net/wiki//index.php?title=PPI_Board/Old&oldid=5982" target="_blank">http://wiki.pp-international.net/wiki//index.php?title=PPI_Board/Old&oldid=5982</a>),<br>
but who is now just a member of the Pirate Party of
Serbia and the fact<br>
that he is the founder of the PP does not afford him any
privilege. So,<br>
please stop personalizing the problem.<br>
<br>
The other group which also call themselves Pirate Party
of Serbia<br>
(<a href="http://piratska.org" target="_blank">http://piratska.org</a>), where Marko
belongs now, has been established in<br>
September from the small group of members of the
'original' PP of Serbia<br>
after a difference in opinion about supporting the
rights of the LGBT<br>
groups to organize Pride March in Belgrade. They were
strongly against<br>
it and they even published an official statement to the
public based on<br>
the votes of only 10 people (7:3).<br>
<br>
That voting was organized exclusively for the so called
'core team'<br>
(self proclaimed 'elite' group of pirates which was not
elected in any<br>
democratic way. To be accurate there was no election
whatsoever for that<br>
'body') and they were opposed to discussion on the
problem of organizing<br>
voting among all party members.<br>
<br>
PP of Serbia (<a href="http://piratskapartija.com" target="_blank">http://piratskapartija.com</a>)
could not accept this decision<br>
which we consider to be against pirate principles and
against the<br>
Serbian Constitution which guarantees those rights for
all citizens and<br>
minorities, including sexual minorities. Because of this
we were forced<br>
to remove the "core team" from the party structure and
support the Pride<br>
March.<br>
<br>
After this the group around <a href="http://piratska.org" target="_blank">piratska.org</a>
literally stole the database,<br>
website and facebook page from Pirate Party of Serbia,
bought a new<br>
domain and replicated PP's website on that new domain.
They are still<br>
sending/spaming emails to all members of the original PP
from the stolen<br>
database even though no one registered or opted-in on
the domain<br>
<a href="http://piratska.org" target="_blank">piratska.org</a>. For example they are
still spamming my inbox.<br>
<br>
The legal statute of this new "Pirate Party" is an NGO
(which can be at<br>
any time registered by only 5 Serbian citizens) called
"Pirate<br>
Movement". At this moment there are about 16.000
registered NGOs like<br>
that and saying that it is a legal party is simply not
true. They are<br>
registered as an NGO for 'Improvement of civil right and
education of<br>
citizens'. Funny thing is that they are improving civil
rights by<br>
promoting the ban of Pride March and hate speech and
racism towards the<br>
Roma population, of which we have several documented
cases.<br>
<br>
Question is why the Pirate Movement present and call
themselves Pirate<br>
Party when they already have their name? As I can see,
Marko and people<br>
from <a href="http://piratska.org" target="_blank">piratska.org</a>
are trying to steal the identity of Pirate Party of<br>
Serbia, which exists 6 years, while their organization
exists only 2 months.<br>
