Dear Pirates,<div><br></div><div>As most of you will know, there's some large scale protests going on in Slovenia. The riot police has been violently driving these peaceful protesters out of the city. I am very close to the action, as a personal friend of mine lives in the capital. He's a Pirate. For obvious reasons, he wishes to stay anonymous. He has been there at the protests, getting tear gas in his eyes and getting beaten up. When he got home, he took the time to translate a message in Slovenian for me. It is a far from perfect translation, but here it goes:</div>

Am i going to hit a hungry neighbour? no thank you not me.<br>Dear police officers-co-workers, friends, fathers and mothers of slovenia children, <br>children of slovenian parents...<br>There was war. There was violance. We came together to defend a new Slovenia and<br>
successfuly defended it, with our desire for a independent and beautiful life. <br>Together we were then and i believe we will be together now, when we are trapped<br>in prison of slovenias politics, Left wing and right wing. Trapped in the dictatorship<br>
of Janez Janša, a disocial sick person, who leads us and supports Vinko Gorenak. Our <br>traitor, who made, that we recieve in some cases a security bonus, with which we recieve<br>minimum pay. And this Gorenak, who is a traitor of his own co-workers even wrote an <br>
entire crass of official bookmarks, with which he betrayed his co-workers, sued them. <br>this person tells us what the right way is...that same oppresor of democracy is respect.<br>And so we became apart of a revolution. All slovenian revolution, which gave two poles.<br>
One pole being the nation, who wishes to destroy totalitary dictatorship of the govrnment.<br>And the other pole being a small amount of hungry simply led, crazy materialists, who<br>keep forgeting Slovenia is the people. Those who live simple, those behind the tape, cleaners<br>
sofers, cooks, teachers, army men, officers...those with a shovel in their arms,<br>mechanics. Simply people, our neighbours, our parents, our children..Thats who we are.<br>The blood and heart of Slovenija. Slovenija isn't and won't be no political elite. Not<br>
left not right. But the right. We the people!. We can't stop wondering, we can't stop believing<br>i will not acknowledge that police officers more and more often fight crime, where people<br>steal bread and butter in shops, where they steal gas on gas stations and a 100 other<br>
vital everyday needs. They are not criminals. They do this to survive. To servive in slovenija<br>which is supposed to become the next switzerland. Its not possible to live like this<br>And these people are convicted...by justice with all its might.But Taycoons, leaders <br>
and mayors never.<br>Thats why we just a note for the govrnment: i'm still human,i still know what is right<br>even when i put on my helmet, bulletproof vest, truncheon (riot gear). Gorenak, Janša<br>and other left and right wing parties: I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN hit on those who protest.<br>
I WILL NOT hit hungry people, who suffer because of your knowledgeless incompetence and<br>depravities! I WILL NOT hit on people, who are right. I WILL NOT hit a hungry neighbour,<br>son,fathers mothers sister...I never did and never will hit the hungry!!!<br>
I WILL NOT! And by order? NOT me. Thanks thats not how i was raised.<br>What about you respected co-sufferer, co-worker, friend?<br>I was never into politics. Never a communist. My writting here started, because my 5<br>year old son is celebrating his birthday in 3 months. I told him he can't invite his friends,<br>
because we don't have any money, even though both me and my wife are educated. He sat down<br>wordless, and started crying. I promised him, that next year he will have a big party.<br>And even that i probably lied. And because of this, because of tears, because i am fair<br>
i had to lie to my own child, because of political incompetence and dictatorship with a pack<br>of marionettes, without feeling for workers public and private sector, i wrote this letter.<br>I wrote a letter and dropped my shield, my helmet, and disobey orders. I am a part of you,<br>
respected people.<br>To you i can only turn with a request:<br>Because of the revenge politics of Vinko Gorenak i plead you, if anyone has a job<br>anywhere to rezerve it. Gorenak will find me and fire me because of faul reasons.<br>
Because of this writting. He knows how-checked. Thank you all. My thoughts i give to you<br>for free. My payment will be your likes! THank you.<br>For the govrnment left and right: <br>YOU ARE DONE!!! WE ARE DROPPING OUR SHIELDS.<br>
