-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----<br>Hash: SHA1<br><br>I would love to see Seattle host a PPI GA, however (and I don't speak<br>for PPI, just my personal opinion) I don't think you guys are ready to<br>host a PPI GA. Just recently your state expressed concerns about<br>maintaining it's membership in the US PNC because of it's low activity.<br><br>What I would rather you do, is encourage PPCA (Canada, not California)<br>to put a request in to host the GA and perhaps work with them to host it<br>in Vancouver which would be close to Seattle and you guys could team<br>up... maybe even share some credit and workload?<br><br>Of course, if Canada did participate -- economically for the rest of the<br>members of PPI it would make more sense to hold it in Toronto or<br>Montreal, but since PPCA is most active in British Columbia that would<br>probably be where it is held. The only people that would benefit from<br>Western US/Canada would be Australia (and they
might and probably wont<br>even attend in person). Eastern US/CA would help South America, and<br>Europeans.<br><br>Again, I am not shooting down this idea -- but I would be more excited<br>to see a Seattle bid next year or the year after when you have a full<br>party (and when your marijuana laws are actually implemented not just<br>passed by the voters ;) ;) ). I am a major fan of WAPP and was at the<br>founding meeting of it, so I am on board and excited to hear of your<br>eagerness.
