<div>makes the thread a realistic scenario for the Future. </div><div><br></div><div>Idea in itself is easy, but could lead to pretty useful consequences regarding PPGA.</div><div><br></div><div>There are companies who specialize in making chip-cards, like basically the current era</div>
<div>of bank cards, which have replaced obsolete stripe-cards, probably in your pocket as well, </div><div>which you implement each time when you enter your pin to a chip terminal at a shop to get your goods. </div><div><br>
</div><div>Now, perhaps not all of you know, actually there are usb-terminals to connect these</div><div>chips to the computer, and make a powerful identification tool. It does take special </div><div>software (some of it in open source), but nothing is surmountable.</div>
<div>In Estonia, we call it the "ID-card" and this has become literally cornerstone</div><div>of everything identity related on the local web market. State, public, third parties, you name it.</div><div>It is secured with double pin, and its legally equal to a pen-and-mortar signature.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Pirates could take this process one step further, and start to issue identity cards for everybody,</div><div>not only as a token of citizenship, but real essence of human existence, liberating people</div>
<div>from the state, and, at the time, giving them means to take part in digital decision making,</div><div>and not only at spot, on at time, but globally, and in huge groups, like the pirate movement</div><div>is hopefully destined to be.</div>

<p>but constructively, we all 'know' how it should be done in that sense. But of more importantance is how CAN it be done realisticly. This was obvious not a realistic idea, therefore the laughter (unfortunately) :)</p>
