<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>Dear pirates,<br><br>It can not be denied, there are deep troubles in Pirate Territory.<br><br>I'm not going to answer each and everyones little concerns <br>personally, that would need too many messages and clutter the list <br>with what most would consider spam :( . So this is for all...<br><br>The distinguished colleague Francisco George that pulled me off the <br>Spanish mailinglist on his single initiative, doing what HE thought <br>was the right thing to do for the party, has nevertheless conceded a <br>few messages ago that he voluntarily agreed that the diagnostic <br>about the problems the Spanish Pirate Party was facing that I shared <br>with him was right. The only prolem is that the diagnosis is cancer <br>with metastasis... and that the patient does object to the treatment <br>being radio and chemotherapy. Thus I started the treatment, both <br>radio and chemo... and at a moment where the patient was whining <br>about it very hard... Francisco stabbed me and all the done effort <br>in the back and sided with the patient, and now all they want to <br>have is candy. Candy as treatment, and sweet talk as communication.<br><br>Anything short of telling everybody how nice he is, even after <br>spitting in the common soup, is met with a citation of the official <br>Declaration of Human Rights... the majority votes that it has the <br>human right to be less than intelligent, less than logic and less <br>than ethic. Of course, such a majority does not care about minority <br>rights and freedom of expression... all it wants is to assert the <br>right not to be bothered with whatever it does not want to hear. And <br>then of course, it does what it wants... the less than intelligent, <br>less than logic and less than ethic things they can come up with <br>themselves. Anything beyond its understanding is simply voted away. <br>Do not believe my word on it... see for yourselves what they have <br>achieved... not. And of course, I and my not so simple words are the <br>one and only allpower that may have done everything that has been <br>done to keep them from achieving what was their birthright to <br>achieve ;).<br><br>That is why finally they always complain about the fact that I go on <br>and go on applying the treatment... and never have any intelligent <br>idea to propose. But certainly... some of you must already have <br>understood the dilemma... before the cure is achieved, any proposal <br>too complex for a less than intelligent, less than logic and less <br>than ethic majority... will either be discarded as a threat to this <br>majority (even preventively, because non-understanding leads to <br>rejection to avoid possible trojan horses) or abused to achieve some <br>other interest of that group.<br><br>I would not care to bother you all with these thoughts of mine, were <br>it not that I see the same disease pattern at work almost everywhere <br>in the Pirate Universe.<br><br>The fact that too many of the members of any Pirate Organization <br>oversimplify too much, leaves us EVERYWHERE (but hopefully some <br>honourable exceptions like the Swedish Pirate Party with their <br>pragmatic leadership and the Icelandic one with being of very recent <br>constitution and full of rational anarchists :) ) with a situation <br>that I have so far graphically described as Kindergarten.<br><br>My Belgian friends possibly won't agree... but then, what of any <br>significance have they been able to agree upon lately? You know my <br>Spanish friends, both Castillian and Catalan won't agree, they are <br>becoming vocal about it in their clumsy ways on this list for you to <br>have a little glimpse of what I have had to endure so far.<br><br>Worse, the German Pirate Party is falling apart for exactly the same <br>reasons, between Altpiraten and Neupiraten, and liberal pragmatics <br>and lefties, and if they are those responsible for shoving a chimney <br>pipe up my ass at the PPI GA in Kazan/Brussels, it is because their <br>pragmatic "leadership" has placed their short term interest of <br>trying to get some of theirs into the German Bundestag and the <br>European Parliament before respect for logic, ethic and pirate <br>values. Because if they do not personally get in before the <br>disintegrating party finally vanishes... their personal investment <br>until today will have been in vain.<br><br>They have no diagnosis for the illness of the party, and thus no cure.<br><br>So damn everything and cash in before the stock value vanishes :( .<br><br>Everybody knows, or should know, what happened in Prague, during <br>2012, and in Kazan/Brussels...
