The Munich City Administration is using Linux (called LiMux in their project) for 15.000 of its workstations. They took this step in order to prevent a single ?supplier (Microsoft) from Monopolizing the market. At the moment there is lots of speculation as to whether they will migrate back to Windows as the Major is in favour of that, however the magistrate strongly opposes this idea.<br>
