Hello Nicolas!
In what month is this conference to be held?

To everyone else
Max, how do you feel towards a trip to Brussels? I think you would be a
great person to send, and I could be willing to go as well, if it
matches my schedule. Otherwise Sandra Grosse might be interested?

I am the treasurer for PPI (Pirate Parties International) and
also leading the PPI conference taskforce (conf-TF) leader. We applied
for subsidies covering at least parts of the trip of up to 50
participants residing in Europe, applicant and neighboring
non-EU countries. We may get this since we have a tour on Friday the
16th at 14:00 in the EU parliament visitors and the once who attend the
tour may get partly refunded for there trips. The money is taken from
Christian Engström's visitors money so I worked with his
assistant Henrik Alexandersson (HAX) together with Amelia
Andersdotter's (Lisbon MEP) assistant Mattias Bjärnemalm (Mab) who
informed me about the funding. I hope this will be approved in the
coming weeks and we may then be able to refund at least part of your
representatives travel costs after the event has occurred.

We are currently looking for a location within our calculated
budget so this limits the participants to less then 100 and a location
a bit outside the center since Brussels is too expensive for our
limited budget to be honest and we may probably have to ask for a fee
of at least 25 Euro per participant to cover our costs. Although the
limitations and costs, we would appreciate to see 2 candidates from
YPI/YPEC so please provide us with a list of names.

Please note that we do not offer living accommodations at this
time, but in case this is a issue I can recommend Hostels, Belgian
pirates and CouchSurfers in Brussels.
