[pp.int.general] Lo que nos faltaba por ver en democracia

Here's a polished Babelfish translation. I think you get the message...

--[snip]
First of all, thank you for your attention. This is an official notice
which is directed to people worldwide. It has been sent to journalists,
politicians, people of the business, cultural and social world. Certain
presidents of some countries have even received it in their personal
mail.
We would like to tell everyone about the great injustice that is
happening in Spanish democracy today. We took advantage of today (the
day of democracy, the day of the municipal elections in Spain) to send
this official notice.

Lately, there has been a lot of talk about city-planning and corruption.
But what about injustice? In a town in the province of Pontevedra, the
city council of A Illa de Arousa to be exact, they want to demolish some
houses. In these houses there live sailors with their families. Humble
people who have never done anything bad to anybody. If we consider that
is a small island, it is extremely difficult to live far from the sea.
They want to destroy those houses which they call "shacks" and "second
houses" when in fact they are made from stone, brick, constructed
through hard labour in an area that has been our property for a long
time. Now the government from A Xunta of Galicia arrives and wants to
demolish our houses which we have built with the approvals of the city
council to live with our families. They want to leave to us on the
street. At the moment they are ruining us, they want to take from us the
little things that we won, put high fines on us that we cannot pay and
want to to evict us. IT IS INCREDIBLE THAT THIS HAPPENS IN A DEMOCRATIC
PLACE LIKE OURS. Most frustrating of everything is that they plan 50
meters of where they want to demolish some of these houses, they are
constructing top-notch beaches and urbanization of luxury, even closer
to the sea than we used to live. Apparently no of the responsible
politicians wants to realize the subject. WE DID NOT REQUEST ANY
PREFERRED TREATMENT, JUST JUSTICE AND EQUALITY. If the great promoters
can construct to their macro urbanizations of luxury on our island, we
want to be able to live in our humble houses.

We enclosed a large poster that you can print and help us to spread this
message of injustice. We need people to know about it. To ALL
POLITICIANS WHO YOU HAVE RECEIVED THIS OFFICIAL NOTICE: THE POWER THAT
TOWNS HAVE GIVEN TO YOU IS TO DO SOMETHING... PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE OUR
CHILDREN ON THE STREET WITHOUT ANY REASON.

Thanks.
