The Madrid attack, no. Nobody accepted responsibility for those
attacks. Terrorism is not mindless killing. It's a political
manifestation. If they truly believe that they are martyring
themselves it would be a poor idea not to make people know.

At least, that is what I know from Swedish media. If you have other
information, I stand corrected.

The Europol report mentions one attack in Germany in 2006 which was
aborted. There has also been the Glasgow incident in summer 2007. If
we wish to base our view of the world on statistics of events that
have not occurred I shall be sure to express my deepest concern about
that as well.
