Great.

I would be quite surprised if there were any detractors, since we have
been careful to write a consultation reply that all the pirate parties
could endorse.

In particular FR and NL are major EU countries with strong and active
pirate parties.
Please let us know asap, if you can endorse this reply.

See below what you could use from DK for the press release.

Thanks for your great help on this, Andrew!

"The levies are nothing but money-grapping from an industry that soon
will no longer be needed due to the development of the information
society. They are trying to get money without actually producing
something in return, using heavy lobbying and quick (on the surface)
obvious arguments, that do not stand deeper analysis. The levy systems
in Europe makes the inner market non-functional for over 6% of all goods
traded in the community. We see the copyright levy systems as one of the
worst obstacles of further cultural development in Europe, supported by
groups who would like to see our information society rolled back to the
last century and frozen there.", says Ole Husgaard, leader of the Danish
Pirate Party (being formed).
