I saw it, as well as I saw that Marten also wrote: "we have now finalised a European Pirate Parties Declaration of a basic  
plattform for the European Parliaments election of 2009". A paper cannot state one thing and the opposite: or it's a basic platform of the European Pirate Parties for the European Parliament Election of 2009, or it's not to be viewed as a restriction on national parties ... because folks, platforms, like promises -actually, platforms are kind of sets of political promises-, are to be fulfilled; thus, a platform is pretty restrictive if one accept it. A platform is really a serious thing.

Marten himself called it our -"European Pirate Parties"- basic platform: thus, calling it declaration or a different name doesn't really matter. So, I repeat the questions:

- is this a preliminary draft? a final draft? or a definitive text?
- who has written it?
- who has already signed it?

Simple questions which will lead to simple answers. After having those answers, we in PIRATA will be able to comment this text. Regards,
