[pp.int.general] Current state of Piratenpartei Deutschland in general.

Not really but in short Finns and Swedes have a bit different yet
effective ideas on how to stay united.

Swedes do not take opinions on anything that is not on the core agenda
if I remember right. Rick gave a rather decent speech of their way
when the PPFI was founded.

Finns are developing a system to allow all candidates to campaign with
their own, very different, opinions as long as we agree on the core
agenda. We have plenty of dedicated capitalists and socialists working
neatly together, knowing that voters can and will decide which one
gets the power. Open goverment, freedom of speech and privacy after
all unite both political left and right, and we can not even dream of
building any old fashioned ideology before we have completed the
original agenda... and when we have intelligent pirates in power, the
best solutions to problems will be taken, be it from any ideology.

No point arguing about whose idea the best solution is. Current
politics are full of whining about solutions belonging to someone
else's agenda, which is bullshit, when people should be thinking on
what is the best solution for each problem. Ideas can not be wrong
just because they are socialist, green, liberal, conservative or
anything, but they can be wrong only by not working. This is my
personal opinion on the matter.
